Brief virtual screening to determine if further evaluation or therapy is needed.
Service Description
This brief 30-minute virtual screening is designed to help parents identify potential speech or language delays in their child. During the session, a licensed speech-language pathologist will interact with your child through fun and engaging activities to observe communication behaviors across areas such as articulation, fluency, voice, receptive language (understanding), and expressive language (speaking). At the end of the screening, you’ll receive general feedback about whether further evaluation is recommended and guidance on possible next steps. This is a helpful first step for families who are unsure if formal therapy or a full evaluation is needed. Ideal for children ages 3–18. Please note: This screening is not a full diagnostic evaluation and does not result in a written report.
Cancellation Policy
The speech and language screening is a brief, 30-minute virtual session designed to help determine whether your child may benefit from a full evaluation or therapy services. This service is intended for initial concerns or families who are unsure if their child needs further support. Booking Guidelines: Screenings are available by appointment only and must be scheduled through our online portal. Families are encouraged to complete a brief intake form upon booking to help guide the screening focus. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations or rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours in advance to retain eligibility for a new appointment time. No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment are considered forfeited and are non-refundable. Payment: Payment is due in full at the time of booking to confirm your appointment. Follow-Up: You will receive a brief verbal summary at the end of the session. If further services are recommended, we will assist you in scheduling an evaluation or selecting a subscription plan.
